The two shut off positions guarantee high tightening quality and avoid over-tightening. The CP8849 delivers high power torque in reverse up to 850+ ft.lbs.The CP8849 Series is to be used as a « snugging » tool to come close to the car manufacturer’s specified torque rating. The final tightening should be done with a calibrated torque wrench, this way, we ensure the end of overtightening. The ergonomic touch pad on the back of the tool offers increased comfort. The Chicago Pneumatic 8849 series comes in 2 sizes: 1/2” short anvil and 1/2″” 2” long anvil. Both models are available as a bare tool or in packs with two batteries and one charger.”
