(13 mm) in diameter. Every FEIN 12-volt cordless screw gun is equipped with a durable, solid metal drill chuck built by Rohm, the premier German chuck manufacturer, making them highly resistant to damage. A chucking power safeguard grips the drill shaft securely, preventing an unintended release. The 12-volt FEIN ASCM 12 features a removable drill chuck allowing screwdriver bits to fit right into the drive shaft. FEIN 12-volt batteries are equipped with FEIN SafetyCell technology and a high capacity of 2.5 Ah while operating at temperatures as low as 0 °F (-18 °C). A separate communication cable protects the battery and drill-driver from overloading, overheating, and deep discharge.
