ROBERTS Natural Cork Underlayment is an outstanding sound barrier for all types of flooring. Besides being an environmentally friendly option, cork is also a healthy choice. It’s naturally hypoallergenic and mold and mildew resistant. Natural Cork Underlayment reduces sound transmission and helps protect the floor against the transfer of stress cracks from the subfloor through to flooring surfaces. It also reduces thermal transmission, making it ideal for use with radiant heat systems. ROBERTS Natural Cork products may contribute towards satisfying credits under the LEED Green Building Program.
Use under ceramic tile, stone, marble, glued wood flooring, floating floor systems, engineered hardwood and laminate floors
Acts as a crack isolation membrane that resists transfer of stress cracks from subfloor through to flooring surfaces
Reduces thermal transmission, increasing the effectiveness of floor heating systems
Easy to install in both glue-down and loose lay configuration
